Working in our Services

We’re Bristol’s leading provider of community healthcare, delivering more than 40 services across 3 core areas: adults, children's and offender health. In a typical quarter, we see more than 11,500 children at school, at home or in community clinics. We’ll also care for 100,000 adults in their own homes and prevent 1,668 hospital admissions. We provide healthcare to the population of Bristol's prisons, helping them stay safe and well. From community nursing teams to end of life care, school nursing and health visiting, to providing diabetes support and physiotherapy, our teams are many and diverse. Adult Health

Our Adult Health teams treat over one third of Bristol’s over 65’s and, every month, look after 35,000 adults. Wherever you fit in, you’ll find that every day is different, everyone is supported and we’re always learning. You can look forward to excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Children's Services

Our Children’s Health teams see every child born in Bristol within two weeks of birth and every month we provide outstanding healthcare for 1,500 children. We work together as one team to put children first, whilst ensuring our employees realise their professional potential through learning and development and progression opportunities.

Offender Health

Our Offender Health teams enjoy rewarding roles in a safe, secure environment, looking after the population of five prisons in the Bristol area. If you’re starting out, it’s a great foundation for a progressive career, or if you’re experienced, it offers many opportunities to develop your skills and experience.
