Clinical support

Working behind the scenes to deliver care and support the frontline.

We’re good together.

Our clinical teams are enabled by the expertise and advice they receive from their colleagues in Clinical Support.

This allows them to focus on doing what they do best: delivering the patient-centric care that prevents unnecessary hospital admissions and enhances quality of life.

Working together, we empower patients and the public to actively develop, shape and influence community healthcare at individual, service and strategic level across Bristol and beyond.

Our Clinical Support teams include a variety of roles such as Health Link Interpreters, who support patients whose first language is not English, and Community Navigators, who provide valuable signposting and support to older people. There are also opportunities in our Clinical Directorate teams, helping to provide the valuable clinical governance structures that empower and enable our workforce to provide quality and consistent care to our patients. The teams include:

  • Innovation Research & Development
  • People and Communities
  • Patient Safety and Risk
  • Clinical Directorate
  • Health & Safety
