Admin and support staff
We wouldn’t be able to deliver our community services without the people who support our healthcare teams and clinicians to do their best work, every day. Our Team Coordinators, Administrators and Receptionists work within our clinical teams and are based across our various bases in Bristol.
There are many different types of opportunities to join us across our clinical settings, plus business support admin roles in our corporate functions. All are interesting and diverse roles that offer ongoing opportunities for career development.
Providing the project, change and programme management expertise that supports all of our services, the Business Development team develops proposals and explores investment for new and enhanced services. The team here is the management hub for project and programme delivery, supporting services with their Service Development Plans and the Change Network to resolve issues and embed new ways of working.
Critical to ensuring healthcare professionals have the information they need, when they need it, the Informatics team manages clinical systems, business intelligence and data quality, patient information, IT support and improvements, and mobile working. As our people are based all around Bristol and beyond, the team works hard to understand their unique IT needs and reduce the number of issues they face.
IT and Communications
The team here are focused on ensuring everyone has reliable and efficient access to IT systems. Most recently, that has meant managing the change to Virtual Desktop, enabling staff to easily access their software and files when working from any of our 28 sites. The team also helps colleagues across the business to manage their Mobile Working, provides Clinical System and Application support, looks after Cyber Security and takes care of Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Marketing and Communications
Supporting our organisation at corporate and service level, our Marketing and Communications team enable us to achieve our vision and mission by engaging effectively with stakeholders in all channels. That includes managing digital channels and producing patient information and corporate publications. The team also focuses on promoting activities and achievements, helps to win new business by supporting new tenders, sets strategy, and manages our reputation and the media. Marketing and Communications also take the lead on internal communications, producing our staff newsletter, managing our online communication tool ‘Workplace’ and managing staff engagement events and campaigns.
Underpinning services that are ‘best in class’, our Finance teams manage and produce the financial information necessary for making operational decisions and shaping strategy. It’s a dynamic and vital team that is expert in managing financial relationships, setting budgets, providing financial advice and information, and looking ahead to provide a long-term approach through good financial planning.
Our Human Resources team partners closely with their colleagues across the organisation to ensure we provide HR solutions that meet our workforce challenges and offer opportunities wherever possible. Our HR team is also vital to supporting and enabling us to deliver our overall strategy through efficient, effective hiring, development and retention strategies.
