Bristol Community Health is the leading provider of healthcare in five regional prisons. We work in partnership, as InspireBetterHealth, with pharmacists, nurses, dentists, GPs, and mental health professionals from other providers to support and encourage service users to take ownership of their health.
This post is based within the Pharmacy Team at HMP Bristol, located just off of the popular Gloucester Road. HMP Bristol is a Category B adult male prison, catering for men who are either convicted or on remand. The majority of serving sentences of less than 12 months.
Specifically, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Accredited Checking Technician to join us on a full-time basis. You’ll be part of an integrated health service, carrying out ACT duties and leading the pharmacy team in providing an efficient and high quality pharmacy service – including stock supplies, medicines dispensing services and advice to patients and multidisciplinary colleagues within the IBH cluster of 5 prisons.
