Health Visitor – Various Opportunities Across Bristol – Flexible Hours – Part time and Full Time Roles

 

The Role

We have a number of exciting opportunities to join our community based Health Visiting Teams in the Children’s Community Healthcare Partnership (CCHP), of which Bristol Community Health is a key provider.

We have a combination of part-time and full-time opportunities based across our various Bristol community hubs. Please see bottom of advert for a full list of vacancies.

As a valued member of the Health Visiting team, you’ll work to develop and strengthen what we do by working in conjunction with Public Health.

Successful candidates will be joining a leading organisation that is forward thinking and encouraging of innovative practice.

Our service is committed to improving the health of children and families in the Bristol area, and our Health Visitors lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme using the four level service model.

This ensures we add value at every contact with a family, as well as addressing their public health needs. You will deliver evidenced based care and work in partnership with other agencies and children’s centres to develop a wide range of health initiatives to meet the needs of the local population.

You’ll work as part of a clinically led team and must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Who You Are

You’ll deliver care in the home as well as clinic and community settings therefore you must be organised, be able to manage your time and self-motivating.

You’ll demonstrate clinical expertise, strong awareness of clinical and information governance and be adaptable to change and service development.

As a Health Visitor you’ll have membership to Institute of health visiting to assist you in your development and the delivery of the HV service.
