Joining our multi-disciplinary team in a safe environment providing 24 hour urgent care, you’ll attend emergencies, administer medications, provide triage and make clinical assessments. You’ll also treat minor ailments,and work collaboratively with Substance Misuse,mental health, prison staff and the ambulance service.
Whether you’re a Registered Nurse or a Paramedic, you’ll also ideally have experience gained in a similar secure or emergency care environment. You’ll also have supervised staff, worked effectively with external agencies, understand the importance of good team dynamics and are committed to professional development. Working in a prison setting offers a secure environment allowance of £1,250 per annum (pro rata) in addition to basic salary. The recruitment process requires prison security vetting which should begin within ten working days of you receiving a job offer.
