Permanent – £18,813 - £20,795 per annum pro rata

Bristol Community Health is one of the largest local community health providers in the region. Our core purpose and strategy is to make lives better for our staff, our patients and their families and the communities we serve. We are a social enterprise and community interest company which is owned by our employees.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Administrator, flexible in approach and committed to team working to join our busy, friendly team of Community Nurses based at Knowle Clinic.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will primarily be dealing with telephone calls from our Single Point of Access team, healthcare professionals, GPs, service users and carers, as well as other outside organisations.

Working as part of a busy admin team, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of administrative tasks including taking referrals, ordering equipment rota management, arranging meetings/note taking, production of letters and reports, using the electronic patient system EMIS (for which training will be provided), along with the monitoring and updating of existing information and reports.

This is a very busy fast paced environment and you will need to be able to prioritise and organise your own workload in order to ensure effective and efficient support to clinical staff and the team. We are a friendly, supportive team who will encourage you to succeed in your role.

This is a permanent part time position covering Monday to Friday. The post holder will ideally work Monday to Wednesday. However, in the future there may be a possibility of needing to work weekends.

Please be aware that we may close this advert earlier if a suitable number of applicants have applied.

If you share our passion for care then this could be the role for you. If you are interested in joining our friendly team and would like any further information please contact Jessica Metti on 07584 440696.
