An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Shirehampton Community Healthcare Team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator, flexible in approach and committed to team working to join our busy, friendly team.
The role will require excellent attention to detail and you’ll need to be fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
This is a very busy fast paced environment and you will need to be able to prioritise and organise your own workload in order to ensure effective and efficient support to clinical staff and the team. We are a friendly, supportive team who will encourage you to succeed in your role.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You’ll primarily be dealing with telephone calls from Single Point of Access team, healthcare professionals, GPs, service users and carers, as well as other outside organisations.
Working as part of a busy admin team, you’ll be responsible for completing a wide range of administrative tasks including taking referrals, ordering equipment rota management, arranging meetings/note taking, production of letters and reports, using the electronic patient system EMIS (for which training will be provided), along with the monitoring and updating of existing information and reports.
This is a permanent, full time position, covering Monday to Friday. However, there may be requirement to provide weekend cover.
